Margie Peterson

With heavy hearts and more than a few joyful memories, we announce the passing of Margie Peterson on August 31st at the age of 72.

Margie was truly one of a kind, strong, talented, endlessly crafty, and very rarely wrong (at least according to her). She was the kind of woman who could organize an entire party, tell everyone what they were doing, fix the decorations, give life advice, and still somehow be the most fun person in the room.

She loved crafts, celebrations, family gatherings, and helping anyone who needed her. If something needed planning, organizing, decorating, or improving, she was already three steps ahead and probably telling everyone else how to do it better. Being “a little bossy” was simply one of her many gifts.

Margie was the rock of the family, dependable, caring, strong-willed, and always there when someone needed advice, support, or a reality check. She had a way to make everyone feel loved and looked after, that left a lasting impression.

She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, aunt, a very loyal friend, and the life of every party she attended. People were naturally drawn to her energy, laughter, creativity, and big personality. She made life brighter, louder, funnier, and far more interesting.

She leaves behind countless loved ones, many friends, wonderful memories, and probably several unfinished craft projects.

She is survived by her brother, Andy Stoffers; her sister, Chris Robison; her nieces, Cindy, Kristy, Wendy, and Jennifer; her nephew, Sonny; and lots of great-nephews and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Brent; her sons, Jason and Jacob; her sister, Debbie Jepperson; her nephews, Brandon and Cade; and her great-nephew, Jeremy.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and impossible to replace
