Margo Louanna Roe, born on June 28, 1944, in the vibrant city of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in West Valley City, leaving behind a rich tapestry of cherished memories and enduring legacies. A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, she was known for her vivacious spirit and a love that bound her family closely together.
Margo’s life was a testament to the beauty of family, as she reveled in the company of her loved ones. Her fondness for gatherings was evident, and she created countless memories through her enthusiasm for camping and fishing. Each moment spent surrounded by family was a treasure, as she deeply valued those connections that enriched her life. In addition to her devotion to family, Margo found joy in nurturing the earth with her gardening skills and sought adventures in Wendover, creating a balanced life filled with nature and exploration.
She was a proud matriarch who undertook the noble task of raising four children: Michael Roe, Michelle Roe, Sheila Anderson, and Rocky Roe, instilling in them the values of hard work and dedication. Margo worked tirelessly in retail, shaping her career with the same passion she devoted to her family, ensuring that they would have everything they needed to flourish.
Survived by her adoring children—Michael and his spouse, Marta Roe; Michelle; and Sheila and her spouse, Andrew—Margo also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and togetherness. Margo's sister, Terry Stewart, remains a testament to their enduring bond.
Margo will be reunited with her beloved husband, Gary Roe, who preceded her in death, along with her children, Kerrie, Lee, Louwana, and Rocky. She also reunites with her parents, four brothers, and four sisters, all of whom have left an indelible mark on her life.
A viewing will be held to honor her memory on August 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, located at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT. This will be followed by a graveside service that will commence at 3:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
Margo Louanna Roe’s life was one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those around her. Her presence will be sorely missed, but the memories she crafted will echo in the hearts of her family and friends, forever cherishing her vibrant spirit and the love she imparted to all.
