Maria Magdalena Conzzoni de Palacios

West Jordan

Married to the love of her life, Manuel Palacios Galindo, she built a beautiful family of six children: Sergio, Sonia, Abraham Manuel, Blanca Lydia, Carlos Arturo, and Dora Elba. She was a faithful wife who loved her husband until her very last breath, and an exceptional woman: an excellent daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was always there for all of us without a single complaint.

She was the ultimate mother but make no mistake—she was fierce! No one could touch her children because the warrior inside her would come right out; nothing could bend her. If any of us strayed even a little, she would straighten us out by combining the best advice with the infallible flying slipper (la chancla). She corrected us with firmness, but above all, with infinite love. No matter what we did, her love for us was always unique and unconditional, supporting us both spiritually and financially.

A devout disciple of Jesus Christ, her family was always her priority. She kept us close to our Heavenly Father and made sure we never strayed from the values she instilled in us.

Everyone who had the joy of knowing her loved her. The Lord gave us the great privilege of having you as a mother. We could spend years writing about you and we would never finish. You will always be with us, my sweet, crazy old lady (mi viejita loca). We love you.
