Marie Alice Hill

Marie "Mary" Alice Hill passed away on December 18, 2010. She was born December 31, 1913 in Berkeley, California to Hazel and Fred Hill. Preceded in death by them and her sisters, Sue Greenwood and Betty Nisbet and her brother, Fred Hill Jr. and their spouses George, Harry and Virginia. She is survived by nephews, Tom Greenwood, Kevin Greenwood, Curt Greenwood and Fred Hill III and by nieces, Vicki Rossiter, Karen Hill-Rogers, Nancy Manchester, Shari Einsel and their families and many friends.

Marie graduated from the French Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco. She received a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a Masters of Nursing from the University of Washington in Seattle. Her career was in Administrative nursing and the twenty years before her retirement as Associate Executive Director and Convention Manager of the California Nurses Association in San Francisco.

At Mary's request no memorial service will be held. In her memory, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross and the Utah Food Bank where she volunteered. Messages and tributes to the family can be posted at: www.holbrookmortuary.com
