Marilyn Bullen Carpenter

Marilyn Bullen Carpenter age, 74, died on August 17, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 1, 1952 in Butte, Montana to Bartley and Janis Bullen. She married Doug (Nort) Carpenter on July 25, 1969.

Marilyn loved being retired but worked for major defense contractors. Starting at EDO, later Harris Corporation for over 25 years. She was an employee of the month for Harris Corporation in February 2017. She started her career in the Acoustics Department and later advanced to production lead where she stayed until retirement.

Marilyn truly enjoyed her TV time and taking care of her daughter and son. There was never a better wife and mother than Mare. She also liked to go to Wendover and play the slots at the casinos there.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, her daughter Shawna (KC) and son Preston (Sandy). Her brother Bill Bullen of Richmond, Utah; special granddaughter Candice (Nick) and Ashley and Bailey.

She is preceded in death by both parents, including in-laws Reid and Joyce, grandson Cyrus, many aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Lake View Mortuary and Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah 84010.
