Marjean Erickson Dahn

June 25, 1928 — May 23, 2013

Marjean Erickson Dahn passed away peacefully from natural causes, surrounded by her four daughters on May 23, 2013. Marjean was born on June 25, 1928 to Vivian Delbert and Selma Lee Erickson. She was the second child, and only daughter of the family. She graduated from East High School. She married David Emory Dahn on December 23, 1947. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Marjean lived a life of kindness, service, class, and humor. She was beloved by everyone who knew her. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren was complete and all encompassing. She was extremely talented in needlepoint and shared her beautiful work with family and friends. She enjoyed tennis, walking, and was a voracious reader. She served in numerous LDS church callings, especially with the youth programs of the church. Marjean was a very social person and always the life of the party. She had a way of making everyone she knew feel special and loved. You could always count on her for a treat, a laugh, and a boost of your confidence. She loved people and people loved her. She was an amazing woman and will leave a legacy of beauty, family, and generosity. She will be sorely missed.

Marjean is survived by her four daughters, Kathy (Tod) Johnson, Cynthia (Mark) Isom, Marianne Johnson, and Julie (Mike) Duffy, 15 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Robert Erickson, and her grandson David Dahn Isom. Thank you mom for all the endless love and support, for being at every event and activity in our lives, and for loving us unconditionally.
