Mark Stephens

David Mark Stephens was born in Salt Lake City on October 15, 1952. He died of a massive heart attack November 9, 2013. Also known as "Mark the Shark," he was proud of his training at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, his ten years of competitive swimming, his completion of a BYU survival training course in the Henry Mountains, his smart nieces and nephews, his old Porsche, his ability with written and spoken words, his amazing driving skill and his education at the University of Utah. He had a love of dogs and looked forward to seeing his magnificent golden retriever Apollo again. He knew that Grandma Emma Marr was taking care of Apollo until their reunion.

Mark is survived by six nieces and nephews, two sisters and his mother. He is missed.
