Marlon Dee Johnson

March 2, 1956 — November 22, 2024

Marlon Dee Johnson passed away on November 22, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on March 2, 1956, in Richfield, Utah. Marlon married Jeniece Mullen Johnson on May 20, 1977, in the Manti Utah LDS Temple.

Marlon loved to work on cars, hunt, fish and was an all-around handyman. He could fix almost anything...lawnmowers, machine dies, broken doors, to light fixtures. He was also talented in construction. He built his own shed, shelves, door frames, and created clever ways to hang pots and pans and utensils in the kitchen. He will be greatly missed.

Marlon is survived by his wife Jeniece Johnson; sons Kenneth, Kevin, Kirk, Darin; grandson Devin Johnson; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, siblings and spouses-in-law, Barbara Seegmiller, Terry Johnson, Carl Lynn Johnson, Newell and Bonnie Johnson, Ilene and Bill Carroll, and Virginia Sharp.

The family would like to thank the Huntsman Care Team, the University of Utah Care Team, LDS Hospital Wound Care, Home Health Care, and True North Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. You may visit with the family prior to the Memorial from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
