Mary Earlene (Everett) Nash

Mary Earlene Everett was born in Sheridan, Montana to Earl Addison Everett and Mary Veronica Connell on August 11, 1938. Mary passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on her 60th wedding anniversary, August 3, 2016, after a short illness. She married John Justin Nash in 1956, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the proud parents of three daughters.

Mary was an active member of the LDS Church all of her adult life, serving in many positions, including Ward and Stake Primary president, Ward Relief Society president (twice), and Stake Relief Society board member. She was always regarded as an excellent Gospel Doctrine teacher. She loved music, especially that made by her talented family. She was proud of her pioneer heritage and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, her daughters Mindi (Scott) Stevens, Cherie (Lee) Willis, and April (Porcher) Taylor, her six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East in Salt Lake City on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sugarhouse Ward, 1621 South 1100 East in Salt Lake City, with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
