Mary Louise Gurule

Mary Louise Gurule, age 78, passed peacefully on the 30th day of August 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on the 22nd day of December 1946 in Pueblo, Colorado, to Manuel Rodriguez and Agapita Gomez. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, children, Diane (Pete) Salazar, Anita Gurule, Monique (Pete) Lalas, Tony Gurule Jr., and preceded in death by Johnny M. Gurule. Grandchildren: Leah, Brandi (James), Joey, Robert (Angelica), Dimitri, and Mary (Mathew). Great-grandchildren: Johnny/CJ, Embrindi, Emilio, Daniel, Arthur, Sonni, Milo, Olivia, Oakley, Ayedden, and Arnez.

She had a beautiful, spitfire soul. She fought her whole life, all the way till her last breath. Mary loved every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all of her siblings and extended family; they were together as much as possible. She enjoyed going to family functions/events and had great memories. She loved her hometown and worked all over the Salt Lake Valley.

You will be so greatly loved and missed, Gran/Yiayia.
