Mary Jane Sainsbury

Mary Jane Sainsbury passed away at the age of 83 on May 10, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was born on May 21, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alvin Grant and Mary J. Cook.
Mary married William Howard Sainsbury on September 2, 1955.  He passed away on July 4, 2013.
Mom was always taking care of everyone and was a shining light to those around her.  She loved her family and friends with everything she had.  She loved to make you laugh, yet she could be shy at times.  We will miss you mom.
Mary is survived by her son Gary R. Sainsbury; daughter Kathy Templin; step-daughter Rosemary Ward; brothers Alvin Cook, Richard Cook, Steven Cook; sister Susan Kaufman and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her father Alvin Grant Cook; mother Mary J. Cook; husband William Howard Sainsbury; son Mark Sainsbury; brother Jerry Cook and sister Donna.
A private family viewing will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
