Mary Josephine Bird

Mary Jo Bird passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 92.  She was born on August 21, 1930 to William Earl and Avis Walters in Freeport, Texas.
She met Donald W. Bird and were married on January 24, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they had five children.
Mary Jo felt one of her greatest accomplishments was the genealogy work that she did.  Her greatest love and joy was her family whom she loved deeply.
Mary Jo is survived by her children Laurie (Robert) Haley, Scott Bird, and Mark Bird, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Bird; son Michael; and daughter Shauna.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Chapel, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  There will be a viewing one hour prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45AM
Interment at Memorial Redwood Cemetery following services.
