Mary Lucile ‘Lucy’ Brown

Mary Lucile ‘Lucy’ Brown passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023.
Born April 28, 1929, in Bingham, Utah to John and Grace Brown, the youngest of 5 children. At an early age, her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Lucy graduated from South High School and went on to put herself through Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Lucy was an office manager for New England Life Insurance Company in Salt Lake City. She met and married Robert Carabine. They had two daughters, Kimberly and Suzanne. Later divorced. Lucy also worked at the University of Utah in the Campus Planning Department as an administrative assistant.
She met and married Gene Brown, they wed on March 18, 1983. Gene and Lucy had 40 wonderful years together. She was a big fan of the Utah Jazz basketball team.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Gene Brown, daughters Kimberly Stringham (Paul) and Suzanne Dudley (Kyle), 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by Gene’s daughters; Sue Elliot (Richard), Jean Stetson, Dianne LeVitre (Darren) 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by Erika C Dudley, granddaughter and Gene’s daughter Linda.
