Mary Louise Monty

February 26, 1946 — November 14, 2013

Mary was born in Salt Lake City to Nathaniel Sherwin Victor Monty and Winifred Mauro. She married Edward L. Kesler, later divorced. She married Pete N. Loukas, later divorced. She retired from the State of Utah. Mary believed life was a gift. She loved and treasured animals and respected the Earth. She marveled at the beauty of the mountains and wildlife. She loved caring for her precious pets. Mary loved to garden and travel. She felt blessed to have experienced this beautiful world.

Survived by her sons, Kirk Kesler and Nick Loukas (Jennifer); grandchildren, Nicole and Korver Loukas; longtime partner, Patrick Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wants to thank Solstice Hospice for their exceptional care of Mary.

Mary requested no services be held, but those wanting to remember her can do so by donating to animal/wildlife charities or The Humane Society of Utah in her name.
