Mauricio Edgardo Ruano-Torres, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on November 13, 2023, at his home. Born on February 20, 1961, in Soyapango El Salvador, Mauricio's journey through life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

Mauricio was a man of many passions. He found solace and joy in cooking and listening to his favorite cumbia tunes. The kitchen was his sanctuary where he would create delectable dishes that brought smiles to the faces of his loved ones. His culinary skills were unparalleled, and he delighted in the simple act of nourishing others with his delicious creations.

In his younger days, Mauricio embraced the great outdoors with enthusiasm. Fishing trips and exploring the mountains were some of his fondest memories. These adventures allowed him to connect with nature and spend quality time with his family. Mauricio's cheerful spirit during these excursions created an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness that will forever be cherished.

Beyond his earthly passions, Mauricio found solace in reading and studying the Bible. He sought wisdom and inspiration from its teachings and embodied the lessons he learned in his daily life. Additionally, he eagerly consumed uplifting teachings online, finding comfort in the words of inspiring speakers who touched his heart with their messages.

On November 20, 2023, friends and family will gather to celebrate Mauricio's remarkable life. Following the Viewing, a Graveside Service will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. It will be a time of final farewells as we honor and bid farewell to a remarkable man whose presence brought light into our lives.

Mauricio leaves behind a life well-lived and a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Vilma Torres, who stood beside him throughout their journey together. Their love was an inspiration to all who witnessed it, and the bond they shared was unbreakable.

Mauricio also leaves behind his sons: Mauricio Giovanni, Jonathan, and Mauricio Alexander, as well as his daughters Brenda Torres and Abigail Torres. As his children, they were his pride and joy, each one a reflection of the love he poured into their lives. Mauricio's guidance, kindness, and unwavering support will forever guide them as they navigate their own paths.

In addition to his immediate family, Mauricio is survived by his father Martin Torres and mother Clara Ruano. Their love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable person he became, instilling values of compassion, respect, and resilience that he carried with him throughout his life.

While Mauricio's physical presence may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and warmth. Let us remember him not with sorrow but with joy for having had the privilege and blessing of knowing such a remarkable soul.
