Michael Roy Middleton

Michael Roy Middleton was born on December 27, 1955, to Jane and Roy Middleton in Salt Lake City and passed suddenly at home in South Salt Lake on May 12, 2024. Mike graduated from Granite High School. Most of his career was spent driving trucks. He worked the longest for Salt Lake City Public Utilities, but he also delivered parts and urgent freight to mines and out-of-the-way industries across the West. Mike was a pretty good bowler and a fair golfer, and he loved to sing karaoke. 

Mike is survived by several cousins and many friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 112, 320 East 3900 South, Millcreek, Utah. 

Mike's friends would like to thank the South Salt Lake Police Department, Fire Department, and Paramedics for their professional work in responding to the welfare check call.  Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries provided the funeral arrangements.
