Michael Dale Potter

Cherished son, brother, and uncle died July 4, 2010 unexpectedly from a blood infection. Michael was born February 18, 1971 in Murray, Utah to Dale and Julie Potter. He lived in Salt Lake City, and for a few years during his youth in California.

Michael attended Olympus High School and served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed music, the outdoors, books, and especially time with his family.

Michael's parents, Dale and Julie; his sisters, Michelle Potter Murphy and Melissa Potter Giovale; and six nieces and nephews will miss Michael's loving presence. Michael will be remembered by his family, friends and acquaintances as a caring loving man who often and consistently extended a helping hand, with understanding and compassion for those near him.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garden Heights North Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 South). Friends and family can visit at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
