Miyeko “Meg” Kiriyama

Miyeko “Meg” Kiriyama passed away on March 20, 2023, in Millcreek, Utah. She was born on March 4, 1921, in Lewiston, Utah to Shigenobu and Kusa Mori. She married Iwao Kiriyama and later divorced.
She enjoyed bowling up until age 98, watching NHK TV and game shows, being with family and friends, road trips with her sister, and activities with the church Senior Adventurers.
Miyeko is survived by her children: Lane (Arlette) Kiriyama, Karen (Danny) Setjo, and Glenn (Emily) Kiriyama, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Selma and Yuki, and 3 brothers: Tom, Floyd, Steve, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Shigeru and Nobuo.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing prior to services from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at 4366 South 1500 East, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84124. There will also be an evening viewing from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 28, 2023, at Memorial Murray Mortuary on 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah, 84121.
