Mosa'ati Moa

Mosa'ati Moa, affectionately known as Mosa, passed away on February 6, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah. Born on July 13, 2002, in Salt Lake City to Theresa Faaootoa and Johnny Moa, Mosa's life was characterized by his dedication to family, passion for boxing, and love of music and video games.

Mosa was the beloved son of Johnny Moa and his mother, Theresa Faaootoa, alongside his step-father, Niukini Jr. Faaootoa. He is remembered fondly as a brother to Isaiah, Roy, Stanton, and Caleb. His family extends to include two cherished nephews, Irie and Wesley, two nieces, Mapuana and Minkah, as well as numerous cousins, aunties, and uncles who have shared in his life and memories.

Mosa was deeply devoted to boxing. He thrived in the company of his brothers, relishing moments spent together and embracing the laughter and camaraderie that defined their bonds. Mosa’s love for music and video games further showcased his vibrant personality and zest for life. Moreover, his sweet tooth was a well-known attribute, endearing him to many who enjoyed sharing treats with him.

Survived by his mother and step-father; Theresa and Niukini, father Johnny, brothers; Isaiah, Roy, Stanton, and Caleb. Nephews; Irie and Wesley, Nieces; Mapuana and Minkah, and many other cousins, aunties, and uncles. Preceded in death by his grandmother Sela Telefoni, grandfather Paula Moa, his cousin Marina Jensen, and many others. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. You may visit with the family Friday evening from 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM and again Saturday from 8:00 AM - 10:45 AM, prior to services, both at the Mortuary. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery: 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
