N. Enos Heward, age 93, passed from this life to the next on September 29, 2014, while sleeping. He is survived by Eleanor Zimmerman Heward, his beloved wife of 13 years, who was at his side at the time of his death. He was born in Logan, Utah on September 11, 1921, to Nephi and Genevieve Heward. Of his three siblings, he is survived by Florence Oviatt, and preceded in death by his brothers, Grant and Melvin. Enos was employed by Western Electric Co. in the Bell system from 1941 to 1980, except for a few years in World War II when he served in the Navy. In the course of his career, he moved his family to many locations in the Mountain West. Following in the footsteps of his ancestors, many of whom lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, he was a life-long dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Marian were ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple. In 2003 to 2004, he and Eleanor served a mission at Liberty Jail. He was also actively involved with Sons of the Utah Pioneers and the Joseph Stout Family Organization.
