Nancy Ellen Hatch Rowley left this earthly life and returned to her Savior Jesus Christ just before 11 pm on the night of Sunday, July 12th, in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her Husband and Daughter by her side. She was 81 years old and had been in decline due to Dementia/ Alzheimer’s for years. She is now free of her suffering and is herself again, having a wonderful reunion with loved ones on the other side.
Nancy had a kind, loving, service oriented heart and that endeared her to all that came to know her in any capacity. She was often described by others as a sweet lady who always had a smile and hug for everyone. She was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for. She had a love of animals and children. Her face would light up anytime she saw a young child or any cats, dogs, or horses, and she would inevitably want to go over to them and say hi. Her light left a positive impact on all those she interacted with. She was very loved and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Everett Norman Hatch 1906-1956 and Frances’s Cass Hanna Hatch 1911-1991, and her Brothers: Everett Norman Hatch 1935-1981, Laurence Alan Hatch 1939-1940, Robert Lee Hatch 1948-2015.
She is survived by her sister: Barbra Hatch Dady, Her Husband Donald Rowley and her Daughter Cassandra (Cat) Rowley. As well as her 7 step children and their spouses, their children (her grandchildren) 25 in total, 8 grandchildren in law, and 9 great grandchildren.
