Nancy LaRae Senninger

August 6, 1931 — June 9, 2024

Nancy LaRae Senninger, affectionately known as Aunt Rae Rae by her nieces and nephew's, Grandma great to her great-grandchildren, and grandma great-great to her great-great-grandchildren, passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born on August 6, 1931, in Salt Lake City, UT, and had been residing in Kearns, UT.

Nancy was a woman of many talents and held various professions throughout her life. She ran several restaurants, including one at the local police station, and also worked as a house cleaner. Even after retiring, she continued to display her culinary skills by cooking delicious meals, especially breakfast, for her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nancy was a loving and devoted wife to the late Jack Senninger Sr, who was the love of her life. They were married on November 20th 1948, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together. One of their favorite pastimes was fishing at Flaming Gorge, where they warmly welcomed anyone who wished to join them.

Together, they built a beautiful family. She was the proud mother of Jack Senninger ll (Karen), Judy Howes (Sterling), JoAnn Senninger, Jerry Senninger, and Jody Senninger (Connie Christensen, deceased). Her love extended beyond her children to her 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Nancy cherished each and every one of them and always made them feel special.

In addition to enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Nancy was a devoted caregiver, and always showed love to others. She selflessly cared for her mother for eight months until her passing. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of those around her.

In her youth, she enjoyed roller skating, which is where she met her sweetheart, Jack. They would skate to the Hokey Pokey together. She had a sassy and smart personality, with a gift for storytelling that captivated those around her. One of her famous tales involved her triumphs in Wendover. Additionally, her bacon-infused waffles were a favorite among her great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings, and her beloved husband. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be forever treasured by her family, friends, and the generations she nurtured.

Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and culinary delights. She will be deeply missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. In her own words, to her children, grand children and great grandchildren "You're gonna get a butt licken." If anyone stepped out of line.

May Nancy LaRae Senninger rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
