Naomi May Hatch (Tippetts), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
Naomi was born on January 26, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, to Thelo Tippetts and Gwen Ellis. She was lovingly raised by Thelo and Leola Tippetts in Bountiful, Utah, where she graduated from Bountiful High School.
Family was the center of Naomi's life. One of her greatest joys was helping raise her granddaughter, Elisha Jones Poole, and later her great-granddaughter, Blakely May Knight. She gave them unwavering love, guidance, and support, creating bonds that will continue to be cherished for generations.
She was married to Darl Jones and later to David Hatch, whose surname she carried for the remainder of her life. Throughout her life, she faced many challenges with resilience and met others with kindness, generosity, and a caring heart.
Creative and talented, she enjoyed painting, needlework, bowling, playing cards, and was the best Jacks player ever. She had a love for horses and found great joy in sharing that passion with her granddaughter, Elisha, and great-granddaughter, Blakely. From horse lessons to caring for the animals, she spent countless hours supporting and encouraging them, creating cherished memories. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with the people she loved. Her family will forever cherish her stories, her laughter, and the unconditional love she gave so generously.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thelo; her birth mother, Gwen; and the mother who lovingly raised her, Leola; her brothers, Larry Tippetts and Lee Blaine, her sisters, Linda Richards and Ordella Buchanan; and her beloved granddaughter, Elisha.
She is survived by her daughters, Darla and Dana; her son, Darin (Carin); her brother, Mike Blaine (Kate); her sister, Connie Sue Kirk (Bill); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish the memories, love, and laughter she shared throughout her life.
Her legacy is one of love, strength, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to her family. Throughout her life, she was a caregiver to those who needed her most, selflessly giving her time, energy, and heart to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Though her family will deeply miss her, they find comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that she has begun her next chapter in peace. The love she shared, the lessons she taught, and the countless lives she touched will remain with us always.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed. Love you mom!
