Nola Gene Lunnen Anderson, age 86, passed away peacefully in Taylorsville, UT, on August 15, 2026, surrounded by family.
Nola was born to Elmo and Melba Lunnen on December 21, 1939, in Murray, UT. The youngest of three children, she had the best older brother and wonderful big sister!
Nola grew up in Crescent, UT. While attending Mount Jordan Junior High, she met the love of her life, David Nielson Anderson. Upon meeting him, she turned to her friends and announced, "I'm going to marry him someday!" Her prophecy came true, and they were sealed for eternity on June 10, 1960, in the Salt Lake City Temple. They soon welcomed three children and settled in Draper, UT. A few years later, they welcomed the "caboose" to finish off their family.
Nola used her creativity and artistic talents to bless the lives of everyone who knew her. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a strong faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, tirelessly working in His service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Melba Lunnen, her husband, David Nielson Anderson, and her great-granddaughter, Emilie Anderson. She is survived by: Brother, Larry Lunnen, sister, Luana Lunnen; Children, Daene (Randy) Rowley, Dyann (Wade) Rowley, David (Rhoda) Anderson, Donavan (Marry Ann) Anderson; Grandchildren, Jens, Tyler, Kurtis, Clayton, Melissa, Elise, Mikhiel, Benjamin, Madeleine, Mark, Elizabeth; Great-grandchildren, Oakley, Blake, Emmett, Ryan, Braxten, Holden, Ava, David, Amilia, Addie Mae, Lucy.
