Salt Lake City - Nola Brenzinger passed away on January 30, 2010 in Salt Lake City where she had resided all of her adult life.

Nola was born in Bingham, Utah, the only child of C. Fredrick Brenzinger and Pheroby (Bell) Brenzinger. Growing up in Grays Lake, Idaho she gained her great love of animals. She was especially fond of her horse, Lady; her dog, Kazam, and her many cats.

Nola was an excellent student graduating with honors from Soda Springs High School in 1941. She received scholarship to Henagar's Business College and St. Mary's of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City. Her professional career included employment with Worthington Corporation, S&W Fine Foods and Cover Pool Corporation.

Nola was fortunate to travel extensively in Europe and the United States. She cultivated relationships with relatives from Germany to North Carolina, Utah and Idaho. She was active in many Christian Women's organizations and community clubs.

Nola will be missed by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family wishes to extend thanks to the many caregivers whom have helped her in the past few years. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery located at 4th Ave. and T Street, Salt Lake City. Friends may call at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S 2300 E, SLC from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, prior to the graveside service.
