Nora Anne Rollins returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 8, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, to Thomas Mark Murphy and Catherine Camille Destatte.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, 1:30 pm at the Crescent 16th Ward, 275 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT with a viewing starting at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Lake Hills Memorial Park.
Nora enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her younger brother, Mark. They were dearly loved by their parents and created many happy memories together, including the cherished day their family was sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Summers at the beach with their cousin, Maria, and days spent at camp were among the experiences that brought Nora great joy.
From a young age, Nora loved collecting dolls, paper dolls, and toys—an interest she proudly shared with her children and grandchildren. She delighted in thrifting and had a special gift for finding bargains. Generosity was one of her love languages, and she found joy in giving thoughtful gifts. Nora loved taking her grandchildren on day trips to Logan, Preston, and Liberty Park, creating simple, beautiful memories and always finding something special to share with them.
Nora was a devoted and hardworking mother who taught her children the value of diligence. For many years, she cared for children in her home to provide for her family. She later worked in the children’s department at Macy’s, where she was known for going the extra mile for customers. Nora also enjoyed working in her yard and took pride in keeping her home and surroundings beautiful.
Her greatest legacy is her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and the deep love she had for her family. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nora treasured prayer, temple worship, and sharing her testimony with others. She showed by example how to live with faith, resilience, and trust in the Lord through all of life’s challenges.
Nora’s love, testimony, and influence will continue to bless the lives of her 8 children, 33 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
