During her life time mom was blessed with 5 children. She helped support the family working different jobs including waitressing, sewing for Beehive Clothing, providing child care from home, and working in her friend's beauty shop.
Mom was a very social and fun loving person. She enjoyed spending time with friends. One of her favorite activities was going dancing with dad.
In her later years she enjoyed reading, word puzzles, and watching ice skating and Dancing with the Stars. She was skilled at crocheting baby blankets, and many babies of her family and friends found comfort being swaddled in one of her beautiful blankets. She loved playing cards and Farkle and just spending time with people she loved. She was a kind and generous woman who always helped others even when she had little to give.
