Norma was born to Calvin Francis Woolery and LaRue Fillmore in Pocatello, Idaho on February 2, 1943. She died on April 28, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her firm testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ, sustained her through her many trials. Norma faithfully fulfilled all of her church callings, including serving as the Stake Relief Society President on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico. She taught her children the gospel and was an example of service and compassion all her life.
Norma was a wonderful mother. She raised her daughters Marcy and Lori with love and patience. She always provided them with encouragement and praise. She delighted in their happiness. She was proud of her grandchildren, Elijah and Hannah, and never tired of hearing of and sharing their accomplishments. She faithfully displayed all of their artwork. She was always supportive of any activity her family was involved in.
Norma enjoyed gardening, shopping, going to movies and out to lunch with family and friends, and being around people. She was a good listener and generous with her time. She was loved by everyone who met her.
Although her family misses her deeply, we know that she has returned to her Heavenly Father, and is happily reunited with her mother, sister, and beloved grandparents. She will remain in our hearts until we are together again.
A visitation prior to her burial will be held at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
