Nuku Kioa

Nuku Kioa, age 65, passed away on February 20, 2026. He was born in Tuanekivale, Tonga, and grew up with a deep love for reading, especially history and language arts. He was endlessly fascinated by the military and enjoyed learning everything he could about the world around him.

Nuku lived a life centered on service, faith, and family. He devoted many years to serving his church and was honored to serve as a bishop—a calling he fulfilled with humility, dedication, and genuine love for others.

Above all else, Nuku cherished his family. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by those he loved, and he carried each of them close to his heart.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary in West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place immediately following the services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, located at the same address.
