Opal Irene Taylor, beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at age 82, August 7, 2007 in Sunnyvale, California. Opal was born January 15, 1925 in Dinuba, California, the daughter of Robert and Bessie Ropp. She married Clifford S. Taylor in Salt Lake City, January 12, 1945. She was a life-long member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church serving in many lay positions at the Wasatch Hills SDA Church in Salt Lake and in several other Seventh-day Adventist congregations. Opal enjoyed studying her Bible, working in her vegetable and flower gardens, camping with her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and painting watercolors and oils. Survivors include: a sister (Doris), three children (Lary, Karen, and Randy), five grandchildren (Benjamin, Laura, Gabriel, Andrew and Faithe), and two greatgrandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 4 pm at the Wasatch Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2139 South Foothill Dr., Salt Lake City.
