Pamela D. Adams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2026, at the age of 71, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. She was surrounded by her family, who loved her dearly.
Pam was born on November 1, 1954. She lived a life centered on faith, family, love, and kindness toward others.
She married the love of her life, Douglas Ray Adams, in the Salt Lake Temple on August 19, 1977. Douglas absolutely adored and loved her dearly. Together, they shared a life full of devotion, care, and love. He will miss her deeply.
Pam loved attending the temple and especially enjoyed visiting newly dedicated temples.
She enjoyed simple joys like floating in the pool with her favorite diet drink and a large sun hat. She loved decorating her home for every holiday and collecting beautiful home décor. She also enjoyed traveling and seeing new places.
Her greatest joy was her family. She loved her grandchildren deeply and always enjoyed keeping up with their lives. She also cherished long phone calls with her sisters and friends.
Pam was incredibly thoughtful and generous. She was always sending cards, gifts, blankets, treats, and thoughtful surprises to those she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Ray Adams; her daughters, Wendy (Trevor) Wells and Lisa (TBD) Adams; her grandchildren, Tyler (Shamrah), Ali, Bryce, and Jeni Wells; and her great-grandson, Taysom Wells.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fergus and Dolores Thompsen. Her husband would also like it noted that his status is "TBD" in the matter.
There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the service.
Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the LDS church on 2812 W 11800 S, South Jordan, UT 84095, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, following a family prayer. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on 6500 So. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, at 2:00 p.m. A private family luncheon will follow at the church.
The family is very grateful to all who loved and cared for Pam throughout her life.
