Pamela Hayes

Pamela Hayes, born July 21, 1955, to Darwin S. and Beth J. Hayes, passed away at home on September 27, 2026.

Pam’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was raised with lots of love alongside her siblings and was especially blessed with five nephews, whom she loved as her own. She cherished her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and was always grateful for the love, companionship, and support they gave her throughout her life.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her brother Brent, her sister and dear friend Darlyne, Terry “Coach” Hayes, his daughter Marcy Hayes, and other beloved family members and friends.

Pam is survived by her nephews Troy, Arrin (Sharisse), Baric (Andrea), Travis, and York, as well as her beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, whom she lovingly considered her grandchildren.

Pam loved spending time with her family, especially when they gathered for crafts, reading, shopping, painting ceramics, and creating diamond art. She treasured the many fun memories and special moments they shared. She was also deeply grateful for the family members who were always there to help her with lifting things, fixing things, changing lights, and all the other little tasks that made her life easier and meant so much to her.

We would also like to recognize the sweet ladies from the Senior Center, her “Sisters by Choice.” Their friendship, kindness, and companionship brought special joy to Pam’s life, and we are deeply grateful for each of them.

Pam did not want a formal funeral. Instead, she wished for her family to come together for a graveside gathering and then share a meal or simply spend time together afterward, just as she would have wanted: all of her family together.

Pam’s love for her family was at the heart of her life. She gave love freely, treasured the time she spent with those she loved, and created memories that will remain in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery located at 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, UT 84010 on October 5, 2026, at 11:00AM
