Pat L. Farr

Pat L Farr born in Tremonton, Utah to Jesse Larsen and Elsie Gustavsen. Her father died before she was born and her mother remarried Ray Averett and she was raised in Salt Lake City where she attended East High School. She married Sherm Farr September 5, 1935. Sherm died in 1979 and on September 9, 1988 she married Ed Surma, who died January 31, 1998.

For most of her life she worked for the Federal Aviation Administration where she retired on August 31, 1979. Throughout her life she traveled the world on cruises with her friends. Her favorite was going on the canals by boat in England. In her later years she enjoyed attending the Mt. Olympus Senior Center in Holladay, Utah.

She is survived by three sons, Gordon (Jessie), Steven (Christy), and Larry (Wendy). She has 12 grandkids, 16 great-grandkids, and 5 great great-grandkids.

There will be a viewing Monday, November 29, 2010 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. Interment will be at the Ogden City Cemetery Tuesday, November 30, at 1:00pm.
