Our Grandma Pat has gone home. She leaves behind children, grandchildren, great grandchildren who adored her, and countless friends who were so dear to her. But she’s been reunited with Grandpa Jerry and Tim and so many loved ones who have been waiting to be with her again.
Grandma was a writer of stories, songs, and poems; a lover of humor, mischief and adventure; a seeker of treasure which could be found in any ordinary pebble, piece of driftwood, length of wire, but especially in any person she met; a gatherer of family and friends, a nurturer, a listener, a forever friend. She never passed up an opportunity to do a good deed or to lift someone who was down. She lived her life rooted to her love of the Savior and her unfailing faith in his love.
She has been a safe place for so many for so long that we are all going to feel a little lost for a while. She would tell us to grieve and be sad if we need to, but then just keep going. So that’s what we will do.Service Information
