Patricia L Jex passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on January 2, 1939, to Gertrude and Lorne Mann.
Patricia lived a full and creative life, marked by deep love for her family, meaningful friendships, and a joy for making beauty in the world. She married the love of her life, Fred L. Jex. Since this love story began on a dance floor, it feels only right to imagine Fred eagerly awaiting his wife’s arrival, arms open, ready once again to meet her on the dance floor in heaven.
She found happiness in ballroom dancing, painting, crafts, gardening, and all things creative. She was an artist in both expression and spirit, a hard worker, and someone who put care and dedication into everything she did. Above all, Patricia loved her family and friends tremendously and held them close throughout her life.
Having outlived many of those she loved, including the members of her immediate family, her husband Fred, granddaughter Brandi, and many dear friends, Patricia’s passing marks not an ending, but a reunion. She now joins those who went before her, welcomed with familiarity, love, and the comfort of being together again.
She was a mother, a grandmother, a friend, an artist, and a steady presence to those who knew her. She is survived by her children Cory Jex (Cheryl), Dawn Jex, Karl McClellan (Tina), and Aleshia Jex; her many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her love, creativity, and strength.
Patricia will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
