Patricia Kaufman

Patricia Vause Kaufman, 80, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Holladay, Utah. Born on November 27, 1944, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pat brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her throughout her remarkable life.

Pat was the beloved wife of Ken Kaufman, who preceded her in death. They were married for 48 years prior to Ken's passing. She was the cherished daughter of Mae and Earle Vause and was also predeceased by her siblings Ronnie Vause, Wendy Parnell, and Jeff Vause.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: daughter Joni Hellstrom and her husband Dave; son Ken Kaufman and his wife Angela; and son Trent Kaufman and his wife Rosie. Pat's legacy continues through her fifteen grandchildren: Daniel Kaufman, JT Kaufman, Dallin Kaufman, Isaac Kaufman, Ashley Kaufman, Kate Kaufman, Emily Kaufman, Hyrum Kaufman, Henry Kaufman, Grace Kaufman, Phillip Kaufman, Nora Kaufman, Hailey Kaufman, Josh Kaufman, and Sam Kaufman.

She is also survived by her brother Gary Vause and his wife Linda; sister Gloria Sheppard and her husband Wayland; sister Jenifer Walker and her husband Matt; sister-in-law Klaire Pirtle and her husband Jack.

Pat's life was filled with music and creativity. A gifted singer and pianist, she found great joy in directing choirs and sharing the beauty of music with others. She loved Robert Redford and Doris Day movies, attending any type of social event, and she found joy in being with her family and helping others. Her caring nature touched many lives-family gatherings were filled with laughter thanks to her fun-loving personality. Pat's creativity enriched every space she entered and her vibrant spirit shone brightly wherever she was.. May the memory of Patricia Vause Kaufman bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 26, 2025, at 10:30 am, at the LDS Church located on 4100 S. Camille St., Holladay, UT.

Pat's Interment will be held on May 28, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Memorial Holladay Cemetery, 4900 S. Memory Ln., Holladay, UT.
