Paul Ladon Farnsworth

Paul Ladon Farnsworth, age 74, passed away suddenly on November 6, 2025, at Intermountain Hospital in Murray, Utah. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and steady presence touched the lives of many.

Paul was born on October 2, 1951, in Salina, Utah, to Marjorie Warenski Farnsworth and LaDon Farnsworth. He married his high school sweetheart, Geraldine Buhler Farnsworth, on August 21, 1970, and together they were later sealed in the LDS temple on June 15, 1973.

He is survived by his children: Alan (Alley) Farnsworth, Matthew (Heather) Farnsworth, Aaron (Mollie) Farnsworth, Andrea (Matthew) Mertlich, and Allison Farnsworth, along with 11 cherished grandchildren.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Paul found joy in serving others. He loved to go rockhounding and traveling to the National Parks.

Paul worked for many years as a general contractor and spent several years in Nigeria building radio communication towers. In more recent years, he enjoyed his work and the friendships he made at Ace Hardware.

He helped anyone who needed it and had many friends.

A private grave dedication will be held in his honor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the church on 8825 Monroe Street in Sandy, UT.
