Perry LaVern Fredrickson

Perry LaVern Fredrickson, age 85, passed away on July 29, 2026. He was born on December 29, 2026, to LaVern C. Fredrickson and Eldora R. Hansen Fredrickson.

On July 16, 1968, Perry married Kathleen Hulse, with whom he shared a life filled with family, devotion, and cherished memories.

Perry was gifted with his hands and was an accomplished machinist and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting deer and elk with both rifles and bows, and he spent many years snowmobiling with family and friends. He also enjoyed trips to Wendover, had a lifelong interest in U.S. coins, and collected many over the years. Perry loved watching Jazz games, and in his final days, he brought his family closer together as they cared for him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Perry is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen; his children, Melanie (Brett) Blackburn, Michele (Mike) Wickens, Carolyn (Curtis) Christensen, Charlene Fredrickson, MarJean Elder, Andrew (Shar) Fredrickson, Denise St. Clair, and Nicole Fredrickson; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the LDS Chapel, 9824 South Sandy, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Perry’s name to Primary Children’s Hospital.

Perry will be cremated under the direction of Memorial Mortuaries.
