Perrylee P. Holzworth

Perrylee kept busy caring for her family and home.

Perrylee Holzworth, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away September 1, 2026, in West Jordan, Utah, with family by her side.

Perrylee was born in Potlatch, Idaho, on February 14, 1940, to Roy and Helen Pulliam.

She met her soulmate, Terry Holzworth, in 1954 while living in South Salt Lake City, Utah. Perrylee and Terry were married on June 21, 1959.

They moved to Long Beach, California, where Terry worked as a civil engineering assistant. A move soon after took them to Ft. Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, where their first son, Kim, was born.

In 1963, after Terry’s service in the Army, they moved back to California, where they remained until 1970. Their daughter, Karen, and their other two sons, Doug and Brian, were born in California.

Perrylee was a talented artist who loved to paint on canvas, saws, spoons, pans, and many other mediums.

Their final move was to West Jordan, Utah, in 1970, where Perrylee lived until just weeks before she passed.

As a mother to a busy household through the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s, Perrylee kept busy caring for her family and home. She baked, sewed clothing and costumes, grew a large garden, canned and cooked, and raised chickens, geese, goats, and two Shetland ponies.

Perrylee was a talented artist who loved to paint on canvas, saws, spoons, pans, and many other mediums.

In the last 10 years, she found a new creative outlet and became passionate about making handmade greeting cards. She created hundreds of cards for her church to sell in its craft boutique each year.

She also helped her church quilting group make quilts for Project Linus.

Perrylee’s favorite color was purple, so please show your love by wearing purple to her service.

When Terry retired early, they were able to travel extensively and enjoyed their time together exploring the United States.

Perrylee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry Holzworth; her mother, Helen Pulliam; her father, Roy Pulliam; daughter-in-law Laura Holzworth; great-grandson Oliver Holzworth; and son-in-law John Anderson.

Perrylee is survived by:

Her children: Kim Holzworth (Cathy), Karen Anderson, Doug Holzworth (Karla), and Brian Holzworth (Christie).

Her grandchildren: Kyle Holzworth (Nicci), Steffen Fernitz (Katja), Amanda Shepherd (John), Carissa Atwood (Nick), Cody Anderson, Shannon Haag (Alex), Shawn Dixon (Elizabeth), Joshua Holzworth (Jazmine), Zandra Holzworth (Andrea), Preston Holzworth (Cassie), and Clark Holzworth (Rebecca Springer).

She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Bob Pulliam (Maureen).

Perrylee’s favorite color was purple, so please show your love by wearing purple to her service.

In lieu of flowers, please plan something fun to do with your own family. Spend some time with your loved ones.
