Philip Kaderabek

Philip Kaderabek–formerly of Chicago and Bloomington Illinois, died on July 28, 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Philip, the child of Frank and Jennie May Kaderabek was born on January 23, 1921. He grew up in Chicago with two older brothers (Roy and James) and two younger sisters (Edith and Velma).  He met Marion Fox at a dance in Chicago, and they were married in California in 1943. Philip was in the armed services and served on lwo Jima. After the war, he and Marion returned to Chicago. They later moved to Bloomington, Illinois (1970) due to a transfer with Philip's company, a NAPA auto parts warehouse which he managed.

Philip and Marion had two children, Jan Ellen (John) Burton and Michael (Cheri White) Kaderabek. Michael and Cheri have two children, Ryan and Sara Kaderabek, and live in Spring, Texas.  In 2008 Philip and Marion moved to reside near Jan Ellen and John, as Marion was re-diagnosed with cancer.

Philip liked to travel, enjoyed music, and was very athletic and physically agile. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookdale and Brighton Hospice for Philip's care.
