Ramon Douglas Stoker

Ramon Douglas Stoker, age 91, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah. Born on October 19, 1933, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, Ramon was the son of Douglas Willard Stoker and Dolores Davis. 

Ramon was a father to four sons—Mike, Jeff, Guy, and Danny. He married the love of his life, Gladys Kathleen Ackerman, in Elko, Nevada. Their bond was later solemnized in the temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they were sealed for time and all eternity. 

He is preceded in death by his sons Jeff and Danny; his parents, Douglas Willard Stoker and Dolores Davis; and other dear family members and friends who have gone before him.

 A devoted husband, Ramon found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He especially loved fishing and camping trips with Gladys—treasured moments that became lasting memories. 

Ramon also had a lifelong passion for working on cars. Whether it was fixing up a neighbor’s vehicle or tinkering in his own garage, he found satisfaction in turning wrenches and solving problems. His hands were always busy. 

Ramon leaves behind his beloved wife, Gladys; sons Mike and Guy, extended family, and many friends.
