Randall Scott Powers

Randall Scott Powers, 70, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with his family by his side. Born on April 8, 1953, in Salt Lake City, he was the son of the late Hayden and Irita Powers. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverley Ann Powers.

Randy loved fishing, the Utah Jazz, the Utah Utes, target shooting, and golfing. He was voted the best Scanner Operator in Utah.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Chase Powers (Jessi), stepchildren, Shannon Leyba (Sam), Chris Anderton (Mini), Taleesa Hinkle, brother, Terrence Powers, and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Trent Powers, half-brother, Larry Simmons, and half-sister, Penni Powers.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
