Reed S. Fairbanks 1911 -- 2007

Reed Stanley Fairbanks passed away on May 17, 2007 at the age of 95. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather, and is reunited with his wife and eternal companion Lucy Mae Thompson Fairbanks. Born October 27, 1911 in Driggs, Idaho to Stanley Brooks Fairbanks and Mary Rose Beutler. He was a graduate of Utah State University, becoming an independent registered pharmacist and businessman. Reed was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving as Bishop and Stake Patriarch. He also served with his wife in both the North Western Indian Mission, and as ordinance workers in the Salt Lake Temple for 17 years. He is survived by 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He taught them the value of hard work by example, and the beauty of nature and music. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Christus St. Joseph Villa, 451 E Bishop Federal Ln (1950 South), SLC.
