Reid Greene Morck, Sr

Reid Greene Morck, Sr. passed away September 7, 2010 from complications after surgery. He was born to Caroline Greene and Christian Henry Morck on November 21, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Sally Mork on November 14, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Reid worked for the Salt Lake City Fire Department for 35 years, and was a paramedic for Life Flight for 10 years. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings including a mission to Finland, Bishop, and enjoyed time serving as a temple worker.

Reid is survived by his wife; children, Cherie (Richard) McCarty, Reid Greene Morck, Jr. "Rusty", Nancy (Brandon) Jones, Audrey Morck; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, 2010 at 12 Noon at the Grandview 2nd Ward, 2930 South 2000 East, where friends can visit with the family from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
