Renee Moore

October 3, 1943 — June 19, 2013

Marlene Renee Fairbanks Moore born October 3,1943 to Doug and Ruth Fairbanks in Salt Lake City slipped away to take her sweet little dimples and giggles home to her Father in Heaven on June 19,2013 in Provo ,Utah. The fairy tale love affair that started with her sweetheart Jim 49 years ago was moved to a higher eternal level and is still going on…forever! Complications of surgery released her from this earthly experience to move to that higher plain we all long for. All she wanted in this life was to have her own knight in shining armor, be married, and be a MOM. Renee achieved all her goals plus so much more. Her love for people showed and she touched so many, more than she never knew. Her sweet smile and little giggle will be with us forever. She won her own battles with cancer, surgeries and heartbreaks and came out swinging! Father in heaven needed a special lady for a special job and she responded to his call. We are heartbroken, but know she is where she should be at this time in our lives.
She is survived by her eternal sweetheart Jim, son Chris(Monica), Daughters Jenni Wright(Dave), Heather Rinn(Brett), Aimee Ballif (Bob), Tamie Talkington(Jared); 23 sweet grand children, 6 groovy great grand children, all of whom she adored. Sister Margie Ware, brother Larry Fairbanks (Sharon) awesome nieces and nephews and a super gang of cousins.
Renee did not want a funeral or a viewing, so we are honoring her wishes. Instead we are having an open house to celebrate her life, it may be stretching it a bit, but we wanted to see those who loved her so we are doing it any way.
In-lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made via PayPal at dadmoo3@dcdi.net. Renee loves flowers but really does not like to see them die. We will use any funds toward her memorial. We will meet Monday June 24, 2013, at the Eagles gate 1st Ward building in the ranches at eagle mountain from 11:00 to 1:00. We will have refreshments, treats and many stories and memories of Renee to share. At 1:00 we will move to the cemetery Mount Olivet.1342 East 5th south, across the street from the University of Utah. There we will lay her to rest with the deer and bunnies that roam there, all of which she loves. We should be there around 2:00 if you can’t make to the open house you welcome to come there.
Directions to the ward house. Go out redwood road until you come to the old 4 way stop. The road is SR 73 with a Chevron station on your right, Turn right and go west. Travel until you see the stone wall on the left that says the Ranches at Eagle Mountain and turn left at the light by the Maverick Gas station. You will be on Ranches parkway. Travel on that until you see EAGELS Gate subdivision that will be on your left. It is a rock platform sign, turn left there. We will have yellow balloons to help. Once you have turned go to the stop sign STOP turn right and follow the little park around to the back of it. The will be a street St Andrews way (it has a grass strip through the middle.
