Renny Lisle Driggs

Renny Lisle Driggs, 54, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Bountiful, Utah. He will be remembered for a life shaped by hard work, quiet passions, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys found in nature and everyday moments.

He was born July 12, 1971, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Darrell and Barbara Driggs. From an early age, Renny developed a curiosity about the world around him and a hands-on spirit that stayed with him throughout his life.

In later years, Renny reconnected with his childhood friend, Franci Marks, and their renewed friendship grew into a meaningful partnership. The two were married on May 16, 2025, and shared a special bond filled with companionship and cherished time together.

Renny worked as a heavy diesel mechanic, a profession that reflected his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he found joy in nature—especially in the mountains, where he spent many hours hiking and exploring. He had a passion for gold panning and rock collecting, always drawn to the quiet thrill of discovery.

He was also an avid poker player and dealer, enjoying both the strategy of the game and the camaraderie it brought. Renny loved music and concerts, and he took pride in his collection of sports cards, a hobby that brought him both nostalgia and excitement.

During the last year of his life, Renny faced cancer with remarkable courage and a strong will, showing resilience and determination that left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.

Renny is survived by his wife, Franci Marks; his parents, Darrell and Barbara Driggs; his sisters, Denae Ramjoue and Pam Bracken; his brother, Rob Driggs (Pam); and his stepchildren, Elijah, Liam, Grace, and Greta Marks. He is also remembered by extended family members and many friends who will cherish his memory.
