Richard "Dick" Beesley

Richard "Dick" Bowman Beesley, age 84, master carver and stone mason passed away January 28, 2009, at his home. Dick was born February 6, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Fredric and Mary Hazel Bowman Beesley. He married Betty Elaine in 1944. He is survived by his wife, Betty Elaine, children; Sandy Roghaar, Penny and Ray Coleman, Heidi and Doug Miller, Chad and Karen Beesley, Tim Beesley and Kip Beesley; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings; a son-in-law, Steve Roghaar and great-granddaughter Taylor Megan Roghaar. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends and family may visit from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
