Riley Hugh Meadows

Our dear beloved, Riley Hugh Meadows passed away on December 17, 2018. He was born February 2, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Anthony Hugh and Sandra Dredge Meadows. He is the youngest of five sons.

Riley has many wonderful characteristics, one of which is his ability to light up a room. He would walk in with his big smile and everyone couldn't help but smile back. His laugh is infectious and his playful, sweet personality was endearing to everyone he came across. Riley is known for his kindness, thoughtfulness, playfulness and fierce love for his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and happily served his friends and family whenever they needed it.

Riley loved photography, his huskies, singing, playing the piano, playing games, working out, fashion and spending time with family. He is a huge tease and loved to make people smile and laugh. Riley enjoyed football and lacrosse and played from age 8 to 18—where he played for Brighton and Alta High School. He was studying at Salt Lake Community College and was 9 credits short of earning his Associates Degree.

He married Ashley Diane Coats on September 15, 2018 in Riverton, UT and had 2 loved huskies, Bane and Sypher.

Riley is survived by his wife, parents and siblings: Joshua (Allison), Trevor (Jeana), Jordan (Bekah), Connor (Natalie) and his seven nieces and nephews—who love and miss him dearly.

Our hearts are broken from his loss, but we know he is with his loving Heavenly Father and Savior. We look forward with faith to live with you again.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cottonwood Heights 5th Ward, 7075 S 2245 E, where friends and family can visit 11:30 a.m.­­-12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery – 3115 E. Bengal Blvd. Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121
