Robert Leroy Clauson

My devoted husband and best friend, Robert Leroy Clauson, Sandy , Utah, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the age of 61 as the result of a heart attack. He was born March 27, 1951, in Ogden, Utah to Ruby North Clauson and Melville Leroy Clauson. In 1959 the family moved to Syracuse, Utah. Robert was a truck driver for 27 years and a hard worker.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Diane Despain Clauson; four children, son, William Alex Clauson (Carolyn), daughter, Stephanie C. Wimberly, son, Nicholas Robert Clauson (Juliane), daughter, Tyler Diane Clauson; sister, Wilma (Tom) Keyes; sister in law, Carol Hager Clauson (Ron); seven grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Alex, Caio, Brenden, Gabriel, Lelah; three aunts, Helen, Wanda, Joan; one uncle, Rex. Preceded in death by parents Melville L. and Ruby N. Clauson, two brothers Leonard and Ronald, granddaughter Mechelle.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Jordan 2nd Ward, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy, UT, where friends and family can visit from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
