Robert Craig Andersen was born May 15, 1943, to Daniel and Mildred Andersen. He passed away March 21, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Craig married Joy Mordue in 1965, and they shared two wonderful daughters and one awesome son. Joy passed away in 2010, Craig later married Rusty Marion in 2019.
Craig lived life to the fullest and there was always a new adventure in sight. Craig loved spending time in Mesquite where he could enjoy the nice weather, golfing, gambling, catching up with his friends, spending time with family, or just simply getting away with his fur babies, Money, Cash and Cub, who he is now reunited with in heaven. Craig was loved by so many including friends, family and his Harrington Trucking family. Craig was a fighter and a very determined man. He would set his mind to just about anything and successfully complete that task. He loved puzzles or anything that could challenge him. He was known to many as Andy, Craig, and Papa to his grandchildren. Craig will be deeply missed by everyone who got the chance to be a part of his life. His memory will live on through so many wonderful times and laughs.
Craig is survived by his wife, Rusty; his two daughters Amanda Kimberlin, Danielle (Jason) Irvine, and daughter in law Brandi (Robert) Andersen; Amber & Adrian Marion (stepdaughter & stepson); Grandchildren Kayla(Nathan) Pugh; Austin(Crystle) Kimberlin; Abbie(Miyah) Brewer; Thomas and Jaden (Andersen); Lily, Kai and Grace(Irvine); Alexis (Marion).
Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Mildred (Andersen); his first wife Joy (Andersen), his son Robert M. (Andersen); his granddaughter Kylee (Andersen); his sisters JoAnn; Coralee, and brother Dan Wayne.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 14, 2023. A family visitation will be held from from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service to follow at Redwood Memorial (6500 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84123). Following graveside there will be a celebration of life at River Oaks Golf Course from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (9300 S Riverside Dr, Sandy, UT 84070).Service Information
